Position Summary
The Human Resources supervisor function is to assist in every aspect of Human Resources by responding to any queries of employees as well as assisting with the administration of employee and company data. As part of the employee relations team, they will also assist in instigating and implementing employee activities or any activities that will promote employee retention.
Position Responsibilities:
• Functions as a Human Resources “Help Desk”, receiving, recording and following up on employee’s requests with concerned Human Resources colleagues if applicable.
• Communicates and explains any new policies and procedures.
• Prepares memos, letters, etc ensuring all correspondences are of high quality.
• Markets and advertises all Human Resources and employee activities.
• Assists with newsflash/employee newsletter.
• Assists in the planning of the Hotel’s Human Resources and general meetings.
• Participates in inspections of locker rooms, employee dining room, and other employee facilities to ensure they are maintained.
• Ensures all feedback related to employee accommodation are responded to/acted upon within established timeframes.
• Assists with preparing, reviewing, interpreting, and analyzing data or information for any reports required, either manually or via Human Resources system.
• Establishes and organizes the maintenance of department records, ensuring complete accuracy and confidentiality.
• Updates and maintains employee files, both soft and hard copy. Reviewing all documentation prior to it being filed.
• Assists the Human Resources Manager with managing the recruitment database and executing any recruitment exercises that require assistance.
• Prepares offer letters for line employees and follows up on signature process.
• Follows up with new employees on documents required for visa process. Submits them to the Visa Manager in a timely manner.
• Assists Visa Manager for acquiring signatures for Labour contracts or any other documents required for work permit process.
• Once arrivals confirmed, request e-mail addresses, scanner names & telephone numbers for relevant employees.
• Supporting in completion of job application materials and documents, and preparation of employment interviews and tests.
• Conducts and documents exit interviews for line employees.
Requirments
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English, particularly to deal effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills, particularly knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications and familiarity with the internet and email communications. Able to utilize and compile databases for recording accommodation/facilities data.
• Able to set the example for other employees by being aware and complying with all company policies and procedures, such as grooming, punctuality etc.
• Able to maintain high levels of confidentiality, sensitivity and discretion in all employee situations.
• High level of interpersonal skills and integrity; seen as a neutral and fair individual.
• Ability to build strong working relationships, internal and external to the organization.
Salary Package
• Basic Salary 4500 AED
