They are seeking an exceptional Director of Revenue who Champion the revenue maximization initiatives in rooms and banqueting and create the Revenue Management process in the hotel. Lead cross functional decision making of all revenue generating departments including Sales and Marketing, Rooms, Catering, Spa and Food and Beverage departments. Responsible for competitive intelligence and facilitate strategic competitive practices through scientific decision support tools.
Job Scope summary
Forecasting
- Create a daily, weekly and monthly forecast for all segments including room nights, ATR and revenue on a weekly basis for the following week based on history, seasonality, special events, business on the books, pick-up trend, average length of stay, stay/cancellation/no-show pattern and lead time
Availability and Inventory Management
- Monitor rate availability and inventory available for sale in relation to expected demand versus supply of hotel and market to ensure that the RevPAR of the hotel is maximized at all times.
- Monitor overselling and ensure that forced upgrades are minimized.
- Review Wholesale Allotment Contracts as part of overall business mix optimization strategy
- Work with Reservation Department to ensure that the appropriate rates, promotions, packages and inventory are available on all distribution channels including ORS, OWS, GDS, Internet and Extranet.
- Establish a dynamic group ceiling for rolling 12 months based on demand forecast according to an optimized business mix strategy and review on a weekly basis with Sales & Marketing.
Yield Management
- To develop and recommend RevPAR maximizing Yield Strategies.
- Devise and recommend the hotel’s tier pricing strategy based on demand forecast, competitive situation and inventory availability.
Hotel Profitability and Revenue Opportunities
- Determine Banquet Space Utilization Strategy to optimize RevPASM (Revenue per available Square Meter) per Day Part including dynamic menu pricing.
- Determine F&B Outlet Space Utilization Strategy to optimize RevPASH (Revenue per available Seat Hour) including promotion impact and ROI.
- Give space and price recommendations for corporate, group and catering contract negotiations based on historical data of forecasted demand versus materialization, seasonality of expected demand versus hotel’s occupancy, day of week pattern, room type booked, F&B and other revenue earned etc.
Requirments
- 3-4 Years’ experience in the same position with a 5 Star luxury property.
- Excellent communication skills (English), additional language is a plus.
- Superb Microsoft Excel / other related Hotel systems
- Exceptional leadership abilities to lead and drive revenue management team.
Salary Package
Basic Salary: 5000 USD to 6000 USD + Expat Package
