Position Summary
Upper luxury property is seeking a talented individual to assist Revenue Manager in running revenue management and maximize revenue yield.
Position Details:
• Responsible for our Web Booking Engine, Global Distribution System, Online Travel Agents or any other online selling channels.
• Ensure that property information and images are up-to-date on hotel’s website, OTA’s, GDS, B2B partners screens in order to maintain accuracy of information available to prospective guests and bookers.
• Conduct rate and content audits on contracted OTA’s, hotel brand website ,GDS and B2B partner screens in terms of search criteria, rate sequencing, rate descriptions and images; monitor and report on rate and availability parity are being maintained and agreements set are being adhered to; communicate any discrepancies to the Direct of Revenue and Distribution.
• Consolidate monthly production of all consortia in order to identify top opportunities and assist Corporate Sales team to increase our fair share.
• Assist and execute E-Marketing Campaigns to meet channel targets and drive revenues to your area hotel(s) in co-ordination with Market team.
• Responsible for managing Hotelligence, rate and Agency 360 and submission of Consortia’s.
• Assist in new openings; create critical path for opening: oversee the set up of CRS, enrol new hotels with approved OTA’s, assist in RFP submissions, ensure proper content, rate description and availability of rate on all channels; initiate GDS campaigns; enrol new hotel with applicable mandatory reports such as Hotelligence 360, Rate VIEW, STR.
• To maintain rate parity on all channels.
• Prepare necessary reports for weekly meetings, Monthly Reports and any other adhoc requests.
• Make sure all rates, room descriptions and other hotel policies are displayed accurately on all the electronic channels.
• To maintain all interfaces in with co-ordination with IT department.
• Assist Director of Revenue to complete Budget Business Plan (yearly budget process) and co-ordinate completion of your entire department.
• To achieve the budget in all properties in the EDS (Electronic Distribution Segment) segment.
• Evaluate the distribution channel performance (costs, commissions, number of reservations, revenue) and potential reasons for this performance.
• Identify and target market segments booked through traditional offline channels that may successfully be driven on-line.
• Evaluate the online presence of immediate competitors and make recommendations to Director of Revenue to increase fair share.
• Coordinate pricing and distribution activity with the Sales & revenue management teams.
• Ensure rates and availabilities of partner websites are BAR guarantee compliant.
• Intensify relationships with representatives of the OTA websites to optimize placement, production, promotions, pricing.
• Increase understanding of on-line booking patterns by analyzing demographics, Geographic’s, search terms used, search engines utilized as well as tracking production through online channels.
• Maintain good relationships with colleagues and contribute to team spirit.
• Cooperate and interact with other departments to provide additional/outstanding guest services.
• Create a positive image in every interaction with internal and external customers.
• Train and Coach team members as per departmental standards.
• Attend and participate in any meetings/briefings (department, communications etc.) as and when required.
• Flexible and to carry out any other duties as requested by Management, which may include, amongst others, carrying out duties within other departments.
• Updated with availability, future dates and all promotions in and around the Hotel and the UAE which contributes towards achieving department/hotel’s forecast and budget.
• To represent the company by following the standard operating procedures set by the organization.
• Proactively sell and upsell all products and services within the property.
• Maximizing sales, as well assisting guests Internal/External and future customers by offering the highest level of customer service.
• Any other duty that may be requested by the management.
Requirments
• Professional command of English (Writing, Reading and speaking).
• 2 Years' experience in UAE, in a Reservation and/or Revenue & e-commerce areas in a 5-star hotel.
• Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
• Demonstrate experience working in a high-volume, high-pressure environment.
• Worked in Multi-Cultural environment.
Salary Package
• Gross package 10,000 AED
